The Morro Bay Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Merced Bears to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Mesa for a non-league game on Saturday, March 5. Morro Bay will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
The Bears (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Hoover (Fresno, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 5-2 record.
