Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN), 14-2 in a non-league battle.
The Knights now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harpeth Hall for a Central North battle on Tuesday, March 8. Pope John Paul II will clash with a Honeybears squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN). The Honeybears record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Owls clash with the Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) in a Southeast battle, on Tuesday, March 8. Ooltewah will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Summit (Spring Hill, TN).
