In Saturday's non-league game, the host Hough Huskies baseball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the T.C. Roberson Rams.
The Huskies (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record.
The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Crest tipped Freedom (Morganton, NC), 12-4, in a non-league game.
