The Santa Clara Bruins crushed the visiting Milpitas Trojans baseball team by a count of 16-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 8. Santa Clara will face a Lions team coming off a 3-3 non-league Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Trojans face the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 9. Milpitas will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA).
