In Saturday's non-league battle, the Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) lacrosse squad routed the host Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 9-4.

Coming up next, the Monarchs clash with the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 9. Mater Dei will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Griffins come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 16-9 non-league win over San Clemente (San Clemente, CA).
