The crowd at Saturday's non-league game between the Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA) and the visiting St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA), saw Byrd's lacrosse team nudge St. Paul's by a margin of 12-11.
The Yellow Jackets (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA). The Flyers enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
The Wolves (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bears enter the Division I - West game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Catholic-B.R. edged Kingwood (Kingwood, TX), 10-1, in a non-league game.
