In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Mountain View Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-8 victory over the Galena Grizzlies.
The Spartans now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reno for a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. Mountain View will face a Huskies squad coming off a 16-5 league loss to Galena (Reno, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) in a HSLL test, on Wednesday, March 9. Galena will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 10-9 league win over McQueen (Reno, NV).
