The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC), saw James Island's lacrosse team nudge Philip Simmons by a margin of 12-11.
The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The enter the 4A-1A Lower challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Lucy Beckham edged Beaufort (Beaufort, SC), 16-2, in a league challenge.
The Iron Horses (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Cyclones enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Porter-Gaud was tipped by Hill Academy (Kleinburg, Ontario) (, ), 15-7, in a league challenge.
