Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host St. John's Mavericks (Houston, TX), 12-6 in a non-league battle.

The Dragons now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingwood for a non-league battle on Sunday, March 6. Southlake Carroll will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Santa Fe Christian Eagles (Solana Beach, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 12. St. John's will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 13-5 league win over La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA).
