In Saturday's non-league contest, the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) softball team the host Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA), by a margin of 10-6.

With the triumph, Leigh moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Longhorns travel to North Monterey County (Castroville, CA) to play the Condors in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 5. The Condors come into the contest with a record of 2-1. North Monterey County won 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Salinas (Salinas, CA)
