The Martin Warriors softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Argyle Eagles to 7 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Martin improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Warriors host South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to clash with the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 12-1. South Grand Prairie lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Randall (Amarillo, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 5. Argyle will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Bearcats come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Coppell (Coppell, TX).
