Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) and the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), witnessed Calexico's softball squad tip Point Loma by a count of 8-2.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Holtville for a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. Calexico will face a Vikings squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Point Loma moves to 1-9 on the season. The Pointers travel to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 7-2. Steele Canyon won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)
