The MacArthur Generals softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Caney Creek Panthers to 1 in the Generals non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, MacArthur improves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Generals host Westfield (Houston, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 0-3. Westfield lost 24-1 in their recent league game against Spring (Spring, TX)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 game, on Monday, March 14. Caney Creek will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
