Mississippi High School Softball - Center Hill knocked off by New Hope

In Saturday's non-league contest, the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS), by a margin of 9-1.
With the triumph, New Hope moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Monday, March 14. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 6-4.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) in a 6A Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Center Hill will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Brandon (Brandon, MS).
