The Orangefield Bobcats softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans to 0 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Orangefield moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Vidor (Vidor, TX) to play the Pirates in a 4A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 3-10.

In their next game, the Trojans play the Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 game, on Tuesday, March 8. Coldspring-Oakhurst will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX).
