Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Demopolis Tigers (Demopolis, AL), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Itawamba Agricultural for a 4A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Corinth will battle a Indians squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Amory (Amory, MS). The Indians record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Demopolis falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Houston (Houston, MS) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Houston won 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Eupora (Eupora, MS)
