In Saturday's non-league contest, the Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX), by a margin of 12-1.
With the triumph, Danbury moves its record to 10-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX) to play the Cobras in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 5. The Cobras come into the contest with a record of 6-6.
In their next game, the Flyers play the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers (Houston, TX) in a TAPPS Division II District 5 contest, on Tuesday, March 8. St. Joseph will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
