Iowa Park Hawks (Iowa Park, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rider for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Iowa Park will face a Raiders squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Decatur falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Springtown (Springtown, TX) to face the Porcupines in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Porcupines enter the challenge with a record of 4-4.
