Alabama High School Softball - Fairhope gets by Vestavia Hills

The Fairhope Pirates got by the host Vestavia Hills Rebels softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL). The Leopards go into the non-league battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Mobile Christian nudged Montgomery (Semmes, AL), 8-1, in a non-league battle.

The Rebels now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Thompson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 8. Vestavia Hills will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 11-1.
