Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) and the visiting Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA), witnessed Rio Linda's softball squad prevail over Foothill by a count of 27-1.

The Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summerville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. Rio Linda will encounter a Bears team coming off a 22-0 non-league win over Esparto (Esparto, CA). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
