The Granger Lions softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Gateway College Preparatory Gators to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Granger moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Taylor (Taylor, TX) to clash with the Ducks in a non-league game on Saturday, March 5. The Ducks come into the game with a record of 4-2. Taylor won 11-6 in their recent non-league game against Rockdale (Rockdale, TX)

In their next game, the Gators clash with the Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 8. Gateway College Preparatory will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Bobcats/Deer come into the game with a 12-2 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX).
