The Pirates now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. Pittsburg will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Gladewater falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Big Sandy lost 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Cumby (Cumby, TX)
