Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) and the host Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), witnessed Sanger's softball squad tip Haltom by a count of 5-1.

The Indians now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Van Alstyne for a 4A Region II District 9 match on Friday, March 11.

With the loss, Haltom moves to 0-5 on the season. The Buffalos travel to Trinity (Euless, TX) to meet the Trojans in a 6A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, March 11. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-5.
