Louisiana High School Softball - Lafayette can't hold off Westlake

The Westlake Rams softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Lafayette Lions to 9 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Westlake improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Rams host Gueydan (Gueydan, LA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league game on Monday, March 7. The Bears come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 8. Lafayette will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Port Barre (Port Barre, LA).
