In Saturday's non-league contest, the Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Little River Academy moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Bumblebees travel to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Monday, March 14. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 1-9.
In their next game, the Chiefs play the Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Lake View will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 18-15 non-league loss to Forsan (Forsan, TX).
