Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Rankin for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. Lewisburg will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Madison Central falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Northwest Rankin won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS)
