The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) and the host Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), saw Martin's softball squad achieve victory over Whitesboro by a count of 11-2.

The Warriors now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Argyle for a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. Martin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Whitesboro falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 10 match on Friday, March 11. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 5-3.
