The Mexia Black Cats softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Snook Bluejays to 2 in the Black Cats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Mexia improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Black Cats travel to Whitney (Whitney, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, March 5. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 4-7. Whitney lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Woodville (Woodville, TX)

Next up, the Bluejays meet the Centerville Tigers (Centerville, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 5. Snook will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Mildred (Corsicana, TX).
