The Rowe Warriors softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Nixon Mustangs to 8 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Rowe improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Warriors host Valley View (Pharr, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A Region IV District 31 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 2-2. Valley View lost 8-1 in their recent league game against Sharyland (Mission, TX)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the United South Panthers (Laredo, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 30 game, on Tuesday, March 8. Nixon will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 8-12 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX).
