Noxapater Tigers (Noxapater, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 1-0 record.
With the loss, Philadelphia falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Lake (Lake, MS) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Lake lost 12-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS)
