In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Iota Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays.
The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their game against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record.
The Fighting Blue Jays (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders go into the 1A District 6 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Westminster Academy tipped Crowley (Crowley, LA), 6-3, in a non-league game.
