Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI), 64-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Menominee upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Maroons travel to Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI) to play the Elks in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 7. The Elks go into the bout with a record of 20-7. Elk Rapids won 81-50 in their recent non-league bout against Roscommon (Roscommon, MI)
