The Albemarle Bulldogs topped the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 57-42 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 8. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 25-3 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 27-2 record after their 77-47 non-league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).
With the defeat, East Wilkes moves to 23-5 on the year.
