Georgia High School Soccer - Cherokee knocks off Discovery

Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Discovery Titans (Lawrenceville, GA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) in a 7A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, March 8. Cherokee will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, GA).
The Titans now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Gwinnett for a 7A Region 7 challenge on Friday, March 8. Discovery will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.
