East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a East Central 2A challenge, on Friday, March 8. East Duplin will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC).

The Raiders now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harnett Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. Midway will confront a Trojans team coming off a 1-1 league Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
