The Northwest Whitfield Bruins soccer team scored 10 points and limited the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix to 0 in the Bruins league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Bruins face the Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) in a 4A Region 7 contest, on Friday, March 8. Northwest Whitfield will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA).
The Phoenix now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a 4A Region 7 contest on Friday, March 8. Sonoraville will face a Lions team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.
