North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashe County loses to East Wilkes

The East Wilkes Cardinals crushed the visiting Ashe County Huskies baseball team by a tally of 11-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Airy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 12. East Wilkes will face a Granite Bears team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Huskies face the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 7. Ashe County will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
