The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) baseball trounced the host Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA), 14-8 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bruins play the Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 8. Ponderosa will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA).
