The Gilbert Tigers routed the host Chandler Wolves softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Coyotes go into the battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Skyline was routed by Highland (Gilbert, AZ), 20-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wolves now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to San Luis for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 6. Chandler will confront a Sidewinders squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Sidewinders record now stands at 1-3.
