The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) and the host Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC), saw Western Guilford's lacrosse team top Eastern Alamance by a margin of 18-2.
The Hornets (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys enter the Metro challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Southwest Guilford was overwhelmed by Glenn (Kernersville, NC), 11-1, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks enter the DC 6/Northern Lakes Athletic/Central/Mid-Carolina challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Seaforth beat Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 21-2, in a league challenge.
