Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Gladiators confront the East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 8. Johns Creek will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA).
The Hurricanes now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland for a 5A Area 7 challenge on Friday, March 8. Cartersville will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Coosa (Rome, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-0.
