Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR) and the visiting Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR), witnessed Hackett's softball squad prevail over Acorn by a count of 11-1.

The Hornets now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a non-league match on Monday, March 11. Hackett will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Acorn moves to 0-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, March 8. The Lions go into the match with a record of 0-1. Mount Ida lost 12-7 in their recent non-league match against Dierks (Dierks, AR)
