The San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) softball routed the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Bobcats (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Midland (Midland, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region I District 2 bout with a 7-6 record.

The Steers now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Alpine for a non-league bout on Friday, March 8. Big Spring will confront a Bucks squad coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Pecos (Pecos, TX). The Bucks record now stands at 8-14.
