The Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles to 3 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Blue Ridge moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ) to play the Bruins in a non-league game on Friday, March 8. The Bruins come into the game with a record of 0-6. Hopi lost 10-4 in their recent non-league game against Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ)

In their next game, the Eagles play the San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 6. Scottsdale Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Sabercats come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 21-4 non-league loss to Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ).
