California High School Softball - McLane gets by Coalinga

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA), witnessed McLane's softball squad tip Coalinga by a count of 7-6.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Selma for a non-league match on Thursday, March 7. McLane will face a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Justin Garza (Fresno, CA). The Bears record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Coalinga moves to 4-1 on the season. The Horned toads travel to Fowler (Fowler, CA) to face the Redcats in a non-league match on Thursday, March 7. The Redcats go into the match with a record of 2-3. Fowler won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA)
