Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The War Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reagan for a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Davie will face a Raiders squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Forbush falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Starmount won 15-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
