The Genoa Central Dragons softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Emerson Pirates to 0 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Genoa Central improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Dragons host Bradley (Bradley, AR) to clash with the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, March 8. The Bears come into the game with a record of 1-2. Bradley won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Spring Hill (Hope, AR)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Hermitage Hermits (Hermitage, AR) in a 1A Region 8 game, on Thursday, March 7. Emerson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
