Ranchview Wolves (Irving, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Caddo Mills for a 4A Region II District 13 challenge on Saturday, March 9. Ranchview will face a Foxes squad coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Wills Point (Wills Point, TX). The Foxes record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Gainesville falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Leopards host Panther Creek (Frisco, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 9-4. Panther Creek lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Denison (Denison, TX)
