The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nettleton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. Gosnell will face a Raiders squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Raiders record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Jonesboro falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hurricane host Rivercrest (Wilson, AR) to face the Colts in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. The Colts enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
