The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Harlingen Cardinals (Harlingen, TX) and the visiting Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX), saw Harlingen's softball squad nip Rio Hondo by a count of 10-6.

The Cardinals now sport a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo for a non-league match on Saturday, March 9. Harlingen will face a Bears squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to La Joya (La Joya, TX). The Bears record now stands at 16-3.

With the loss, Rio Hondo falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, March 8. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 7-9. Los Fresnos lost 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Corpus Christi Academy (Corpus Christi, TX)
